out with the old - in with the new

A couple of weeks ago I got the dreaded phone call from Mr. Mahal; "
something is wrong with my truck".

Great. With a passion, I hate fixing vehicles. It seems like such a gamble in my world - what if you fix it and three months down the road it happens again (i admit this logic may be flawed). There's no guarantee and I don't like that. After much deliberation we decided to explore the option of getting something new - dumping the obnoxious, loud truck and starting over.

Now, if anyone knows how the Mahals buy vehicles this was going to be a quick process! Let me give you a little background.

2010 - I asked Phil to 'test drive' some cars with me and we left the lot with a new car.
2012 - Phil went to look at a used car at the dealership and pulled into the HP parking lot two hours later with a new (used) truck.

We make decisions fast.

That said, this decision was more thought out than the previous two vehicles combined. We took our time, did our research and made the jaunt up to the north metro to test drive some Jeeps. After I made the salesman run around the whole lot looking for the perfect one with the the appropriate amount of bells and whistles - we landed ours.

We're the proud new owners of a Jeep!

saying goodbye to chuck.

the new!

until next time, darlings.
